Hmm ... went to a new swimming pool today after class.
The weather was great and the location was fine.
Some shortcomings. The toilet was just too far and its hard to get into the pool! The pool was more like a trench, not on the same level as the walking platform! Wahaha ....Labels: Pool

A different Thursday!

Woah! It was really a fruitful day today. Lessons began at 830am and ended at around 245pm.
My ex-colleague, Stephanie, of Guardian Pharmacy requested me to give her support over at her restaurant in Cityhall. With a friend, we headed down to the fine-dining outlet. Hmm, I am glad to see Stephanie still in her usual jovial self. It seems that she is really enjoying her work at the restaurant. The service over at the restaurant was relatively great while the food though not exceptionally good, has room for improvement. As a whole, it was value for money, considering the ambience.
My friend and I were kind of "entertained", not by violin player, but by a couple at the next table. They were rather well dressed, with the lady being gorgeous and that guy being "beng". Can you imagine the scene with the guy eating the drumstick with his hands while the girl struggled over the drumstick? That guy, was just too un-gentleman! My friend must be pampered with me cutting and shelling the food for her!
After dinner, we went to Chinese Garden in view of the mid-autumn lightings. The lightings were great! It has being really long since I go to Chinese Garden. Lols! I conquered the 7 storey pagoda! Wahahas ... Can imagine a 23 years old like me . . . still holing on a lantern! The ingenious idea of my accompanying friend! Hahas!Labels: Mid

Just two things to highlight today.
We are all living in a dynamic business environment. People are chasing for their goals in life, attaining their colorful scores in campus, climbing up the career ladder in the ever competitive business world.
However, did anyone of us ever slow down our pace and appreciate people around us, who contributed "silently" to our success?
- I was in my psychology lecture last Thursday. The overhead projector did not seem to work. The situation was made worst witb the main pc "surrending its white flag". My Israel professor contacted the maintanence department for assistance. Within minutes, a serviceman came. He was just like any typical technician that you have came across. He was very skillful, though sparks were seen in the process of repairs. Without techician like him, the lecture cant go on . . . we cant have comprehensive visuals rite?
- SBS Tibs Bus Service 179. For people who dont drive to NTU. Who ferry u to school everyday? I understand that we did pay our bus fare. But, I think we should really give thanks to those Bus Drivers/Uncles that fetch us from the interchange into the school compound and vice versa. They do contribute to our study experience!Labels: Experience

Woah! How times flies! It is already the 7th week into my new semester. Hmm, sometimes, I think I am giving myself too much stress and pressure. I just cant have the feeling of me myself being good, or perhaps very good/excellent. While my tutorial mates have other leisure activities, I am doing my tutorials. While their tables are empty during tutorial lesson, my table is occupied with computer typed out tutorial answers. While my classmates are still in their cosy bed, I am already on my way reporting to school for 830am lesson.
I can reasonably and comfortably remark that I am a diligent and conscientious student. However, sometimes, my test/quizes results are just not justifiable. Why Why Why? Maybe I din/cant really excel during the actual assessment. Alternatively, my Mummy said that I am just too a perfectionist, always giving myself too high an expectations. At times, I think these are really true ...
Currently, I am learning to relax myself yet staying focus. As long as I put in 101% effort, I should learn to accept the outcome. Ultimately, its the process and actual knowledge gained that matters, rite?Labels: Thoughts

Hahas ... finally I get to touch my blog again. You ask me the reasons as to why I have not being blogging? Simple, I was busy.
Was clearing my revision and all of my next week's tutorial so that I will have sufficient time to revise for my mathematics quiz on Monday. Weekend gonna burn again ...
Anyway, school was pretty fun today! Just dont undertstand what got into me this morning. I was like so enthusiastic in Accounting II class, posting comments and asking questions. Hehez ... hope that my tutorial mates dont find me as a nuisance. Career Foundation class was kind of interesting though brain-"freezing" and again, I particpated in commenting too! Wahahas ... Prof. Henry remarked that only 8 out of 40 students in our seminar group passed our resume writing! Can you believe? For me, as long as I did put in effort, I am willing to accept any outcome. Just trying to relax myself! Zave, dont give yourself too much pressure yar? Learn to let go, slowly, yet stay focused ....
Went for a swim after lesson. Though there was no Sun, it was a great workout session. Swimming in the rain instead ....

A busy weekend . . .

忙，忙，忙，还是忙！
It was a busy weekend for me ... have been clearing my tutorials and revision. Hmm, I am longing for a good chill out with friends.
Did my psychology, cover letter & resume writing, accounting II, Investment ... quite fruitful though. Just wanna why am I giving myself so much pressure? I know, I dont like to procrastinate assignments but I think I should really give myself a break. Why must I be the best when I am already very good?
Just something light. Was preparing my cover letter and resume for my career foundation modules. Was actually quite sastified with my work ... gd job, Zave! My brother happened to pick up my paper and read. His only remark (assuming himself to be the employing organisation); "对不起，我们贵公司请不起你!". Isnt this funny? I think he havent see resumes that are more colorful than mine! Hiak Hiak
