A busy yet fruitful week

I was involved in doing up research project and module revisions this week. I completed my revision on psychology. corporate finance, corporate lending and research methods. Whee~
Met my "dajie" Pamela on Wednesday. Was sorry to hear about her recent broke off and to my surprise, the jerk is actually from our volunteer circle. Anyway, dajie commented that I grew more handsome! Hahas!
Thursday was spent over at my friend's office in Orchard for project. Though it wasnt a fruitful day BUT at least, some items got confirmed and settled. Tun Win played a rather bad role by making Xin Xian went drunk. She was so red and hot after the few glasses.
Was supposed to meet Fiona today for the SPOP Gala Concert in the Indoor Stadium. Just too bad that she has to attend a family dinner. The rest of my Sunday would most probably be spent reading newspapers and preparing for my impromptu test tmr.
Upcoming: To get back my psychology Exercise 3 report, evaluation to persuasive presentation, Williams case writeup . . .

A date that was too short?

Met Fiona yesterday at Cineleisure-Orchard for movie "Sky of Love". I was seriously late by half an hour as my professor "over-run" her research methods class coupled with me getting a stalk of sunflower before heading down.
Fiona looked really different from the photographs that Jingwen showed us. Anyway, it seems like we really have quite a lot of common friends. "Sky of Love" was really a great movie; the plot, characters and the music. However, I was not really moved nor shedded tears as what the other audience sat parallel to me did.
As for today, the psychology role-play and presentation went really smooth. It just seems like devil realm that video music could not be broadcasted. Hahahas! Thank God! I was witty emough to think of new strategies. Think I should upload the role-play video real soon. Now, finally down to the very last assignment! Exercise 5. May Zhen Guo and Karen Pooh JIAyous.
Counting Down. 4 more days to SPOP finale concert. Meeting her again!
But wait, is she the right one still? Maybe I am just too superficial. Boo~

Persuasive Presentation

Persuasive presentation was over last Friday. Have always been the last to present (cos I am the last on the register/class nominal roll), until my professor asked me to be the first to present that day. I was still having my bread in my mouth.
Professor commented that it was a great idea to use testimonial for persuasive presentation. Thanks to Sek Heng for helping me in the filming. However, the video was kind of soft during the presentation. But, its alright! Effort Counts!
This was what I received from my friend who will be presenting next week:
"I think people over at your table perform very well. THe other group seems a little nervous during presentation. You all also quite creative and professional ... got bring extra stuff to present and really act as representative of NTU. Die standard so high. I very stressed."

NTU Open House 2008 = Success

Last Saturday, we had our annual open house! It seems like there were less visitors this year. Hmm, is it that the other Universities are more aggressive in their advertising and promotion moves or was I just too busy to notice crowds of people in other corners of the campus?
Anyway, I was involved as the internal bus tour guide aka ambassador of NTU. In layman terms, I was in the shuttle bus with the visitors (both parents and prospective students) and being an ambassador of NTU, I need to show and explain to them some unique infrastructures in campus. Seriously, due to academic work, I was just too packed to read up my script in detail. Actually, I was rather nervous before the first shuttle bus set off. To my surprise, my introduction of NTU went really well! I was praised my two of my friends for being natural and the ability to give comprehensive explanation and description! Zai! Seriously, I was kind of addicted to being an ambassador to move around in the bus! I took up really a few trips of the shuttle service.
Zave! Remember the following:
- You are a locally grown up kid. You are proud to own a pink NRIC. You are not in anyway worse than people from neighboring country.
- You are always diligent and conscientious in your work. Remember your psychology mates saying that you are a perfectionist?
- You may not be as good looking as tip top model but you are above average! Remember the traits of Gemini? They are a group of flamboyant people. And seriously, you lived up to that title.
- People can have all their means to look at you. You are not that bad seriously. Look at your psychology, corporate lending and 214 results ...Labels: open house

020308 = Last Day of recess week

Today is the last day of recess week le. How time flies!
Anyway, my recess week was rather a fruitful and meaningful one.
In terms of academic, I did revision on on research methods and advanced corporate finance. As for upcoming projects, I got my section settled for corporate finance module. Moreover, I checked through the tentative version of the report. My psychology project is about 80% towards completion. Great Job to my team -Beanies.
Received my psychology quiz result. I scored an A. Hahas! I aced it! Next on the schedule will be receiving back my test scripts for communication and corporate lending. Finger Crossed!
Glad that I managed to squeeze some time for leisure and sports this recess week. Seriously, I should stick to my regime.
